Personal Files Sharing

Cocktails personal file sharing section provides advanced settings which is found in Mac OS X Server. All settings besides TCP Port changes are enabled directly. To update the TCP port setting personal file sharing have to be restarted, this can be done in System Preferences -> Sharing -> Services -> Personal File Sharing. Disable and then enable by using the button and the new port is enabled.

Cocktail also permits you to set a login greeting presented at login. You can specify to send the greeting only once for Non-guest. idle users can be disconnected after a specified period of idle time. The default value is after 10 minutes. You can define a message to display at disconnect. Cocktail also provide the possibility to set which TCP port to use for personal file sharing. The standard is number 548.
