Mail interface settings
Check for new mail on launch:
When enabled Mail will check for new mail on launch. With Cocktail you can choose to manually collect new mail, this can be good when your computer is connected to a low speed Internet connection.
View all messages in plain text:
When enabled HTML mail will be presented in plain text.
Console logging:
Mail can be set to logg events to the Console which later can be presented by Cocktail in the Files - Logs section.
The following events can be logged:
- Address completion times
- Attachment purging activity
- Delivery times
- Harder junk mail activity
- Indexing fetch times
- IMAP fetch times
- Junk mail activity
- Message deletion times
- Message load times
- POP fetch times
- Router activity
- Routing times
- Socket times
- Transfer operation times
