Login interface settings
Display in the login window:
Mac OS X's login window can be set to display additional information. With Cocktail this becomes very easy.
One of the following items can be presented:
- Host Name
- System Version
- System Build
- Serial number
- IP address
- Directory and Service Status
- Date & Time
Include in the list of users:
When configured to display a list of user the login window can be configured to show Administrator users, Local users and Network users.
Hide Buttons:
Cocktail can hide the sleep, restart and shut down buttons at the login window.
Display password hint after:
The number of failed login attempts before one get a password hint can be set from 1 to 5.
Disable console access:
When enabled one can no longer get to the console by writing >console as username.
