Finder interface settings

Show invisible items:

With the box "Show invisible items" enabled, files with a leading dot (an invisible file) will be viewable in the Finder.

Hide the Desktop:

This disables icons and right click at the desktop.

Disable window zooming:

When enabled a new finder window is zoomed into position.

Disable rectangle effect when opening files:

When activated a small and fast rectangle effect is shown when opening a file.

Disable animation when selecting categories in the Info window:

When enabled folding of categories are no longer animated.

Replace lists of users and groups in ownership settings with text fields:

When enabled the list of users and groups becomes text fields.

Number of label lines in icon view:

Sets the number of lines of labels in icon view.

Configure menu items:

Cocktail gives you the possibility to modify enable or disable items in the Finder, File, View and Go Menu.
