Dock interface settings

To enable settings the Dock has to be relaunched from Cocktail.

Show Dock shadow:

When enabled the Dock has a shadow.

Show hidden items in folders and disks:

When enabled navigating folders in the Dock will show hidden files and folders.

Enable transparent icons for hidden applications:

When enabled a hidden application's Dock icon will become transparent. This setting provides a visual presentation of a applications state.

Disable Dashboard:

Cocktail provides a possibility to disable and enable Mac OS X's Dashboard.

Lock the Dock:

When enabled you can not add, remove or reorder the Dock.

Dock position:

The Dock can be positioned to the left, right, bottom and on top. One can also choose to place the Dock at Center (default), start or end. The placement setting makes it possible to i.e. put the Dock at the top to the left. Further the minimization effect can be changed from the default Genie to either scaled or to be sucked into the Dock icon.
